The plan aligns with the Justice Department’s Strategic Plan, prioritizes key areas, and establishes a set of data-driven strategies. The Justice Department’s current work to advance and promote DEIA builds upon past initiatives and is guided by Executive Order (EO) 14035, “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce.” As required by that EO, the Justice Department developed a DEIA Strategic Plan that articulated a road map to advance DEIA across Department components. In carrying out its mission, the Justice Department is committed to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) for its employees.
